Leading a nonprofit takes more than good intentions, especially right now when so much changes so often. It takes a strong foundation, consistent management, and a community you can lean on.
The Nonprofit Management Institute, hosted by the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, returns this spring to bring together nonprofit executives, managers, and board leaders for a six-week, collaborative learning experience designed to strengthen organizations from the inside out.
From April 7-May 12, 2026, participants will meet virtually on Tuesdays from 9:30 am-12:30 pm to self-assess and dig into essential nonprofit management practices: |
-
April 7: Orientation, Nonprofit Management Overview, Capacity Assessment
- April 14: Board Governance
- April 21: Program Design, Management and Evaluation
- April 28: Strategic Planning
- May 5: Fundraising, Financial Management
- May 12: Human Resources, Graduation
|
This is more than training – it’s space to reflect, learn, and connect with peers who truly understand the work. |
