New Orleans coffee culture, like the rest of the city’s food and drink, is unique and worth trying out. There’s no better place to get started than the famed Café du Monde. Sidle into a seat in the open-air restaurant and taste your first coffee with chicory, paired with a fluffy beignet topped with powdered sugar (you’ll have to order three, though). The restaurant has nine locations in the New Orleans metro area; the most famous, and most popular, is the one on Decatur Street in the French Quarter, where you’ll no doubt be exploring anyway. Make sure to add it to your "things to see" list outside of #NCPA2025!
