Apply for 2025 AAMS Critical Care Transport Academy (CCTA)!

The CCTA submission application is now OPEN.

The CCTA provides education and training, developed and presented by volunteer flight crew members from around the country.  

This Academy (conducted mostly through various online activities) occurs over the span of several months and provides a solid clinical foundation, didactic demonstrations, tools for flight crew orientation, interview practice sessions and more with the goal of helping Academy graduates find a flight program career that is the best fit for them.

CAPCE and Nursing credits provided by

This program comes with no tuition cost to the students, however, students are responsible for travel costs associated with two in-person courses that run over two and ½ days.

The submission deadline is
Friday, February 28th. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a current RN or Paramedic
• 3 yrs of ED/ICU experience for RNs
• 3 yrs of experience in a high-volume 911 environment for Paramedics
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, PHTLS (or equivalent)
• Not currently employed in a flight position
