Arriving in Canada with extensive experience in water treatment, Olusegun faced the challenge of navigating a new job market. He enrolled in our Food and Beverage Accelerated Skills Training (FAST) program, gaining manufacturing training, hands-on experience, and essential resources like a laptop, safety work boots, and transportation assistance.
These resources, combined with Olusegun's skills and strong work ethic, helped him to quickly secure a full-time, mid-level position as Operator Utility Lead at Wonderbrand.
Olusegun’s employment journey did not stop there. Driven by a passion for helping others, Goodwill Amity assisted Olusegun in pursuing a career in Personal Support Care. Once again, his commitment to learning and hard work paid off as he transitioned seamlessly into his new role as a full-time Personal Support Worker.
Olusegun's success is a result of his resilience, determination, and the support he received from programs offered at Goodwill Amity. As he continues to thrive in his career, Olusegun shows us all that no dream is too big when fueled by passion, perseverance, and hard work.
