Every Pound Makes a Difference, and So Can You! |
Last year, we distributed food to help local individuals and families put nutritious food on the table thanks to our community's support. This Thanksgiving, we need your help to bring more choice, dignity, and holiday spirit to our Food Pantry.
Through our Thanksgiving Community Food Drive, we're creating a festive Holiday Corner where clients can select their favorite Thanksgiving staples. Instead of receiving prepacked bags, families can choose the foods that best fit their needs and traditions. Each household will also receive a grocery store gift card to help complete their holiday meal!

Introducing Our Computer Literacy Class
Beverly Bootstraps is excited to have launched its first-ever computer literacy class for ESOL students! Made possible by the generous support of Frontier Technologies, which donated refurbished computers, this 12-week program will help students build essential digital skills.
| |
Through twice-weekly classes, students will learn to use Gmail and Google Docs while building their computer vocabulary and confidence. Best of all, upon completing the program, each student will take home a computer at no cost, helping them continue practicing and applying their new skills beyond the classroom!

From Local Farms to Our Community |
Beverly Bootstraps is able to provide fresh produce to our community with the help of Boston Area Gleaners. In an effort to rescue surplus produce that would otherwise go to waste, they partner with local farmers and distribute fresh food to hunger relief agencies like Beverly Bootstraps. Watch our video HERE to see how this partnership helps bring fresh produce from local farms to our Food Pantry!
We are so grateful for this partnership! Thank you for helping local farmers put surplus produce to good use and helping fresh, nutritious food reach our neighbors. |
