Dear VOAF Supporter,

As we reflect on another quarter of service, I am reminded of the meaningful difference we can make when compassion and community come together. Across Florida, VOA Florida continues to provide housing, supportive services, and resources that help individuals and families move toward greater stability and independence.

Every day, our work is made possible by the dedication of our staff, the commitment of our community partners, and the generosity of supporters like you. Together, we are creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and helping the people we serve take meaningful steps toward brighter futures.

As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded that this time of year can bring both joy and additional challenges for the individuals and families we serve. Your continued generosity and commitment help VOA Florida provide care, stability, and hope when they are needed most. As we look ahead to the months to come, we remain dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our communities and expanding our impact across Florida.

With gratitude,

A new look, rooted in the same purpose. VOA Florida is embracing a refreshed logo that reflects our continued growth while honoring the mission that has guided our work for generations.

While our visual identity is evolving, our commitment remains unchanged. We will continue to serve Floridians in need through housing, supportive services, and programs that promote stability, independence, and brighter futures.

This refresh represents an exciting new chapter for VOA Florida, made possible by the dedication of our staff, the trust of our partners, and the generosity of our donors and supporters. As our look moves forward, we remain grounded in the values and purpose that define who we are.

New logo. Same mission. Continuing to make a difference across Florida.

Clearbay/Creekside Beautification Event 💛🛠️

Creating a welcoming place to call home goes beyond the walls of a building. Thanks to The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot, VOA Florida was able to enhance the outdoor spaces at Creekside and Clearbay, two affordable housing communities serving seniors.

At Clearbay, volunteers installed vegetable-filled raised garden beds and refreshed the community entrance. The gardens provide residents with an inviting space to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and participate in a shared activity with their neighbors. These opportunities for interaction can help strengthen relationships, encourage engagement, and reduce feelings of isolation.

The improvements continued at Creekside, where volunteers spread fresh mulch, painted picnic tables, and trimmed seagrass bushes to brighten shared outdoor areas. These refreshed spaces offer residents a more inviting setting to spend time outside and connect with others.

We are grateful to The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot for investing their time and resources in the communities we serve. Their generosity helps create more than attractive outdoor spaces. It helps foster connection, encourage active living, and support a greater sense of belonging for the seniors who call Creekside and Clearbay home. Thank you for helping make these communities places where residents can continue to thrive.

Operation Backpack 🎒📚

A backpack filled with school supplies can help a student feel ready to take on a new school year. Thanks to the generosity of Trump National Doral Miami, 300 children in the Miami community received backpacks filled with essential supplies to help them prepare for the year ahead.

Employees and vendors joined forces to donate supplies and participate in a hands-on backpack build event, working together to assemble each backpack for the students who would receive them. Their involvement turned a shared commitment to giving back into a tangible contribution for local children and families.

This initiative highlights how community investment can help meet everyday needs and create opportunities for children to approach the classroom with greater confidence. Through the generosity of donors and partners, VOA Florida can continue connecting families with resources that make a meaningful difference.

We extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to this effort. Your willingness to give your time and resources helps equip students for the school year and strengthens the communities we serve.

Space Coast Commons Celebrates One Year 🎉🎂

A year of community is a year of progress, connection, and new possibilities. Space Coast Commons recently marked its first anniversary with a celebration bringing together residents, staff, community partners, and friends who have helped shape the community over the past year.

The gathering was an opportunity to celebrate the relationships formed, memories created, and sense of belonging that continues to grow at Space Coast Commons.

Your generosity helps make milestones like this possible. Through the commitment of our donors and community partners, VOA Florida can continue creating housing opportunities that offer more than a place to live. They help provide a foundation for residents to build connections, pursue their goals, and move forward with greater confidence.

As Space Coast Commons enters its second year, we invite you to celebrate the difference your involvement makes. Thank you for helping VOA Florida build stronger communities and create opportunities for residents to thrive.

Punta Gorda Labor Day BBQ 🌭🍖

At Veterans Village in Punta Gorda, veterans, families, staff, friends, and community members came together for a special Labor Day BBQ celebrating the veterans who call the community home.

The gathering featured BBQ, live music, and opportunities to connect, share memories, and enjoy time together. A special highlight was the presentation of vehicles to two veterans, made possible through the generosity of Walt’s Garage, in collaboration with Fine Line Automotive Concepts and NAPA Auto Parts.

Moments like these are made possible because of YOU, our donors, partners, and community supporters who believe our veterans deserve opportunities to thrive. Your generosity helps create meaningful experiences, strengthen community connections, and provide resources that support veterans as they work toward greater stability and independence.

We are grateful to everyone who continues to stand alongside VOA Florida and the veterans we serve. Together, we are creating communities where veterans can find stability, connection, and opportunities for new beginnings. Thank you for being part of this mission!
