Flood recovery priorities announced for families, housing and small businesses

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has announced an $18 million funding strategy to support immediate needs and long-term recovery following the July 2026 floods.

The recovery plan brings together donor-approved funds from the 2025 flood recovery effort and new charitable gifts to support emergency financial assistance, case management, housing recovery, small businesses and other long-term needs across the Texas Hill Country.

Nonprofit partners are beginning to provide assistance. Residents affected by the floods are encouraged to complete the Needs Assessment to help connect their households with available resources.
