The Building Blocks of Stability Progress doesn't always arrive with great fanfare. More often, it shows up in the quiet moments.
A young mother settling into a safe place to call home. A veteran unpacking boxes in a new apartment. A volunteer serving lunch with a smile. A fresh bath towel waiting for someone arriving at a shelter for the first time.
These moments may seem ordinary, but they are the building blocks of stability, healing, and hope. They are reminders that lasting change is often made up of small acts of care, repeated day after day by a community that refuses to give up on its neighbors.
This month, we're honored to share the story of one remarkable young mother whose future began to change when she found support, safety, and the opportunity to dream beyond her circumstances. Her journey is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to invest in possibility. . . Meet Jayden and her little girl in the video below. 💝 |

We are thrilled to share that Alexandria's House has received a $25,000 grant from Numerica's Cares for Kids program! 🎉
This generous investment will help support young mothers and their babies as they work toward stable housing, education, and brighter futures. Alexandria's House is the only licensed youth-focused maternity group home in Washington State, providing a safe place where young families can heal, grow, and begin to dream about what's next.
To celebrate the grant, KREM 2 News recently visited Alexandria's House and highlighted the impact of the program through the story of one remarkable young mother, Jayden. |

The heart of Hope House is people who care. We're grateful to the Gonzaga students who have chosen to spend their time volunteering alongside the women we serve at Hope House. Their kindness, energy, and willingness to show up make a meaningful difference every day.
This video offers a glimpse into what happens when community comes together to create connection, belonging, and hope. Thank you for being part of the journey! |

We are incredibly grateful to Avista for investing an additional $8,300 in Alexandria's House through their ongoing support of young mothers and babies in our community. This generous funding will help furnish the home with energy efficient appliances as we continue the renovation. From preparing meals to creating a comfortable and functional living environment, these appliances will help make Alexandria's House feel more like home.
Thank you, Avista, for helping create a space where young mothers can find stability, pursue their goals, and build brighter futures for themselves and their children! |

Fresh towels may seem like a small thing, but for a woman in need of recovery from injury or illness or a young mother preparing for a new chapter, everyday comforts can help restore a sense of normalcy.
The residents at Hope House Respite Center and Alexandria's House are currently in need of new or gently used bath towels. If you'd like to help create a warm welcome for someone in our care or just need to make some room in your linen closet, we'd be grateful for your help!
