Please join us for Best Chef on Friday, April 10, from 6–9 PM at the Boston Marriott Peabody. This special evening will bring together great food, friendly competition, and the incredible community that makes Beverly Bootstraps’ work possible.
Three talented local chefs will go head-to-head in a live cook-off, creating dishes of which 75% of the ingredients are found in our Food Pantry. Their creativity will be put to the test as celebrity judges select the most delicious and inventive dish to earn the title of Best Chef.
Does that make your mouth water? A limited number of exclusive tasting tickets allow guests to sample all three dishes and be their own judge of the competition. And everyone will leave satisfied—guests will enjoy tastings from 15+ favorite North Shore restaurants, along with complimentary beer and wine while mingling with friends, food lovers, and fellow supporters of Beverly Bootstraps. The evening will end on a sweet note with desserts, an exciting live auction, and a paddle raise to support neighbors in need.
At Beverly Bootstraps, thousands of local individuals and families rely on our programs for food, housing stability, education, and essential resources. Events like Best Chef make this work possible. You—our donors, volunteers, and supporters—are the heart of Beverly Bootstraps. We hope you will join us for this meaningful night to celebrate what we can accomplish together and stand alongside neighbors who need it most.
Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind culinary event. Reserve your tickets today and help make a difference in the lives of local families. |

Brookwood's Mission Possible |
The 5th graders at Brookwood School successfully completed Mission Possible: No Empty Plates. In partnership with the Parent's Association, students went on a "top secret" mission to stock our Food Pantry. Together, they collected over 2,000 pounds of food for local families! We are incredibly proud of these students for going above and beyond to make a difference and grateful to the entire Brookwood community.

Nine-year-old Abby runs her own egg business with her chickens, and recently heard that our Food Pantry needed egg cartons. Abby stopped by (with her mom!) to donate her egg cartons to help support the pantry.
We are so impressed with her entrepreneurial spirit and the way she stepped up for her community at such a young age. Thank you, Abby!
