Since opening in 2003, the Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop has been more than a store—it’s a vibrant hub for community, connection, and opportunity. Guided by values of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, the Thrift Shop offers a welcoming thrifting experience that serves the North Shore and beyond. Over the past year, staff and management have reimagined what a thrift store can be. By meeting directly with customers and donors, they listened, learned, and thoughtfully shaped an experience that reflects the diverse tastes, needs, and circumstances of the community. The result is a thrifting experience shaped by the community, not just for them.
From one-of-a-kind local art shows to rotating weekly discounts and a growing lineup of special events, there is always something new to discover. Donors enjoy a thoughtful, streamlined experience, with clear guidelines, accessible drop-off options, and easily scheduled pickups. The Thrift Shop also goes above and beyond for the environment through a zero-waste initiative, strong green partnerships, and an ongoing commitment to reducing our footprint.
Looking ahead, the Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop remains committed to deepening community connections, expanding sustainability initiatives, and offering even more creative events and donor experiences in the year to come. Whether you’re shopping, donating, or just curious, we invite you to be part of what’s happening at the Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop.
Visit our website to learn moreabout upcoming events and donation opportunities, stop by to see what’s new, and follow us on social media to stay connected. Every visit, every donation, and every interaction helps strengthen our community and support the mission at the heart of Beverly Bootstraps.

Food Pantry Recognition and Renovation
We are proud to be named a 2025 Healthy Pantry by The Greater Boston Food Bank. This recognition reinforces our shared focus on expanding access to healthy food and supporting the well-being of our community. |
| |
Thanks to The Greater Boston Food Bank’s (GBFB) Community Investment Grant, construction is underway in our Food Pantry to improve flow and increase capacity as we serve a growing number of clients. These renovations will allow us to better meet our community’s needs while continuing to serve every client with dignity and care. We are deeply grateful for GBFB’s generosity and partnership as we work together to strengthen access to nutrition in the year ahead.

La QChara Brings Fresh Meals |
For the past year, La Qchara in Beverly generously prepared and donated ready-made meals from their restaurant to our Food Pantry every two weeks. These thoughtful meals offer a reliable, convenient option for individuals and families who may be juggling long work hours, caregiving responsibilities, or limited kitchen access. Thank you, La QChara, for sharing your time and talent with our community, and for the care you put into each delicious meal.

Partnering with Beverly Female Charitable Society |
The Beverly Female Charitable Society awarded Beverly Bootstraps a generous donation to support our Food Assistance programs. Founded in 1810, the Society is one of the oldest female charitable organizations in the country, with a long history of providing aid and support to neighbors in need. Their mission continues today, and we are grateful for our partnership with an organization that shares our commitment to ensuring everyone in our community has access to food and basic resources.
