Dear Friend,
VOA Illinois newsletters are back with a new look for the new year! Rest assured, even with a new look, we still have the same commitment to the work that you make possible.
We are honored that as we continue into another year, we also continue to have your support. Because of you, we can continue providing a new beginning for Veterans and families experiencing homelessness, a bright future for children and families living in poverty, and a better quality of life for the elderly and adults with disabilities. Sincerely, |

HOW YOU CAN HELP RIGHT NOW |
|
|
Our Girl Scout troop that serves the Englewood community and Hope Manor II/Hope Manor Village is selling cookies until March 11! Not only is this a chance to treat yourself or surprise a loved one, but it's also a chance to support the 30 girls that are members of this troop. Help our Girl Scouts meet their goal of selling 2,100 boxes! |

Your support allows our Rapid Rehousing team to address the needs of individuals and families that are experiencing homelessness. Last month alone, they were able to move 9 families into housing, help 6 people find employment, and serve 163 people overall! As we continue into the cold months of the year, their hard work is even more essential, and your support makes all the difference. |

This month, we had the pleasure of hosting Senator Duckworth and several members of her team for a tour of Hope Manor II. We were able to speak with the Senator about our housing community and the work that we do to support Veterans. She also had the chance to meet some of our female Veterans and hear about their experiences both during and after their military service. We are so appreciative of the ongoing support of Senator Duckworth and her team! |

DONOR APPRECIATION CORNER |
|
|
The generosity of Hollywood Casino Joliet continues to make a meaningful impact in our communities. Recently, they made a donation to Hope Manor Joliet, one of our housing developments for Veteran families. This contribution is more than a gift, it is an investment in stability and in the people that we serve. This support strengthens our ability to provide essential services that allow people to rebuild their lives. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and support of our mission.

The VOA Illinois Leadership Celebration is coming up! Mark your calendars for May 21, 2026, and join us at The University Club. More information will be coming soon regarding sponsorships, tickets, and ways to support! |

Staffers from Senator Duckworth's office joined us at Hope Manor II this month! They helped tidy up the property after the holidays, organized common spaces to make them more accessible for residents, and cleaned areas that can get missed. Their hard work made Hope Manor II an even brighter and more welcoming environment for those that live there! |

Thank you so much for your support of VOA Illinois! We would not be able to provide essential services to those who need it most, when they need it most, if it was not for supporters like yourself! |
