It’s hard to believe September is already here and fall is just around the corner!

As I look back on this year so far, I’m filled with gratitude. Together, we’ve had the privilege of serving nearly 1,000 children in foster care across St. Louis and beyond. That means 135 kids now have a safe, cozy bed of their own to rest in each night, and 109 little ones are buckled safely into car seats—representing a 33% increase in support over last year.

None of this would be possible without you. Whether you give your time, your resources, or your prayers, you are helping children find stability and hope in the midst of uncertainty. You are the reason so many kids are experiencing safety, comfort, and dignity right when they need it most.

The Missouri Athletic Club bestows the Women of Distinction Awards, annually recognizing women from the St. Louis region for their vision and mentorship in business, civic, and philanthropic endeavors. This year, our very own Executive Director, Laura Storm, has been named one of the four Women of Distinction for 2025! 

She'll receive the official honor at the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards banquet on Friday, Oct. 3 at the MAC Downtown Clubhouse. Join us in congratulating her on a well deserved recognition!

Meet Morgan Kreutzman, a founding member of Foster Together’s Young Professional Board! Morgan brings energy, organization, and a heart for service wherever she’s needed—whether planning fundraisers, networking events, or sharing her creative ideas.

Morgan first connected with Foster Together while donating clothes. Living nearby, she often saw the needs in the foster care community and wanted to help, even while navigating her own journey of balancing her desire to foster with her dream of having a child of her own. 

After welcoming her daughter—her miracle after being told she wouldn’t be able to carry—Morgan felt an even deeper drive to support children in foster care. That led her to an immediate "yes!" when she was asked to lend her heart and expertise to the Young Professionals Board.

Professionally, Morgan has built a nearly 10-year career with Wells Fargo Advisors, and she loves applying her skills to help the foster community.

When she’s not volunteering or working, Morgan enjoys camping, family time, and bringing joy to others. Her dedication, creativity, and compassion make a lasting impact on the children and families Foster Together serves. Thank you, Morgan, for your energy and selfless service!

St. Thomas Holy Spirit-ELCA church heard about the work Foster Together is doing and stepped up to partner with us by giving us much needed storage space, and allowing us to hold classes and events at their church, giving us more space to offer things like childcare and meals. They have been a true blessing to us and the foster community!
