CMS launches Your Care is at our Core, a new strategy to rebuild trust with the public |
The Colorado Medical Society is proud to launch Your Care is at our Core – a new communications and advocacy strategy – and we need your stories of great patient care!
Over the past few years, there have been shifts in health care that have challenged both patients and physicians, ignited by the COVID-19 pandemic and the prevalence of mis- and disinformation. These factors have distracted from what matters most – the connection between Colorado’s physicians and their patients.
In partnership with the American Medical Association, CMS aims to strengthen the bond between patients and their physicians – the foundation of health care. Your stories will illustrate the importance of the physician/patient connection. View a few prompts here for inspiration. Would one of your patients be willing to share their story? We have a form to collect patient reflections as well!

CMS Annual Meeting: Spotlight on Friday evening programming |
| |
|
We hope you're planning to join us Sept. 19-20 for the Colorado Medical Society Annual Meeting. This spotlight is on Friday evening. Attendees will arrive at Keystone Lodge and check into lodging. Then head down to our opening reception and happy hour, 5-7 p.m. for a drink, some hors d'oeuvres, and the opportunity to visit with our hall of exhibitors.
Following the opening reception is Bridging The Connection Gap – A Networking Workshop for Physicians with speaker Greg Roche. This session is built specifically for physicians like you: those leading a practice, navigating high-stakes decisions, and often doing it without a true peer support network.
This isn’t about networking in the typical sense. It’s about teaching you how to build a circle of trusted physician peers you can lean on, learn from, and talk to. People who get it. People who know the weight you carry. And by the end, you’ll walk away with a practical, personalized plan to build the kind of peer support that boosts mental health, professional satisfaction, and your ability to lead well, without adding to your already-full plate. |
The group rate deadline for rooms at Keystone Lodge has passed but rooms may be available. Make a reservation by phone by calling 855-948-0696 during business hours. Reference our group name -- Colorado Medical Society 2025 Annual Meeting -- and/or group code -- BKRCMS25. |
