Crosswalk will be opening in September!
We can't believe it's finally here! What started as a dream for a safer, more supportive space for youth is now a reality. And that’s because of YOU - our donors, partners, and advocates who refused to give up on what's possible for our kids. While the color of the building may have changed - it's a stunning black, our resolve has not. We will continue to provide our youth with the outstanding care they deserve, now enhanced by a space built just for them: expanded learning areas to help them grow, dorm-style living on the second floor encourages college education and independent living, and a safe outdoor play area gives them a space where they can simply be kids. It's a world away from the downtown streets they’ve known.
This space was built with love and community, and while the walls are up, there’s still room to help us make it feel like home. From cozy furniture to welcoming touches, you can still be part of this story. Want to help us furnish the future? Give today and designate your gift to Crosswalk 2.0! |

KYRS partnered with us and Boots Bakery for another successful Spring Fund Drive! The community really stepped up, raising over $25,000 to help keep Thin Air Community Radio on the air! Boots pledged to donate one meal for every $36 donated to the station during the drive. The residents of Hope House will receive 190 meals thanks to all of the generous pledges received! Special thanks to Alison Collins of Boots Bakery for taking the time to promote the event live on the air with us and showing up with her amazing generosity once again to support our VOA community!

Bombas Warms Hearts (and Soles!) with their annual Sock Donation 🧦🩵 |

What’s better than a warm pair of socks? Three thousand warm pairs of socks! Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from Bombas, VOA received a whopping 3,000 pairs of high-quality socks, ready to bring cozy feet to the people we serve. But we didn’t stop there.
In the spirit of community, we’re proud to pay it forward. These socks have been distributed not only across VOA’s own programs but also shared with incredible partners doing equally vital work, including Transitions Women's Hearth, Teen & Kid Closet, CHAS Community Outreach, and Family Promise. HUB Intl. team volunteered to help sort socks for delivery! Thanks, HUB!
So, when you see those advertisements from Bombas- 'Buy a pair of socks, we donate a pair of socks.'- it's totally true! Supporting Bombas is supporting nonprofits everywhere, and we think they're pretty awesome! |

A special thank you to all of our incredible donors who sent in heartfelt dedications and gifts so our moms could feel special on Mother's Day. A huge shout-out to Molina Healthcare, Numerica Credit Union, Boots Bakery, Spokane Jewelers Guild, Project Beauty Share, and all of our individual donors for donating so many fantastic items to make gift bags special- reminding our ladies that our community cares for them! We can't forget to thank our volunteers who came in to fill all of those gift bags, not only with goodies, but with love! Thanks to Tony Brown and his team at Ruins for making all of the lunches served on Mother's Day!
An extra bonus, while delivering those lunches we were informed that one of our moms was bringing her new baby into the world! A memorable Mother's Day for certain. We know they are off to a loving and safe start knowing they are in the care of the Alexandria's House team. All of our appreciation and gratitude go to YOU - We love our VOA community, and WE ❤️ MOMS!
