To all who attended the celebration of life, donated your time, gave gifts in honor of Bridget, or shared your kind words with us- we couldn't be more grateful for your incredible support. Thank you for standing by us, as always. You are truly the best. Beautiful things happen when we show up for one another, and your presence reminded us that love, community, and compassion carry us through the heaviest of times. |

Fair Housing Awareness Month |
During Fair Housing Awareness Month, we would love to shine a spotlight on our Permanent Supportive Housing program. Working with local landlords through master leasing agreements, we offer housing and whole-person care to chronically homeless singles where we can address chronic health conditions, disabilities, and past traumas. This program equips residents with the tools they need to regain stability and independence: Healthcare navigation, employment services, educational opportunities, benefits assistance, onsite healthcare, behavioral health services, 24/7 case management, and more.
Everyone deserves a place to call home. Thank you for being a community who helps people reclaim their lives with healing, dignity, and belonging! |

Join us in Welcoming Vets on Lacey! |
We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking for Vets on Lacey, a brand-new housing community dedicated to supporting low-income veterans. This 12-unit complex, located just off Francis on Lacey, will provide safe, stable homes in a neighborhood with easy access to parks, public transit, and essential services.
Vets on Lacey will be a wonderful addition to our existing veteran's program which currently serves up to 20 veterans at a time in a similar residential setting. This new development is more than just housing- it’s a fresh start, a place to rebuild, and a community where those who’ve served our country can finally feel at home. Each unit represents dignity, stability, and the promise of a brighter future.
We’re deeply grateful to the supporters, partners, and advocates who are making this project possible. Stay tuned for more updates as construction begins and join us in celebrating this next chapter for our veterans! |

It’s one of our favorite times of year when we have the pleasure of honoring our mothers. From the first-time moms navigating pregnancy and little ones, to the moms whose family tree is deeply rooted. For many of these moms, Mother’s Day is bittersweet. We can come together and help them rewrite that story.
With a simple gift of $35, you can sponsor a mother’s seat at the table where they will enjoy a meal lovingly crafted from Ruins and Boots Bakery. They also receive a gift bag complete with handmade cards from fourth graders from a local elementary school. Imagine the connection, smiles, and the joy you can bring. With your kindness, they will remember that they are valued- that you care.
For over two decades, you have made these moments possible. As a special way to honor the mother figures you hold dear, we would be delighted to make the gift in their honor and share it on our website. Additionally, we can send a card on your behalf sharing the impact of your generosity in their name. Simply click in "dedicate this donation" and write the address in the "comments" section following if you would like to send an accompanying card. Thank you for being a source of light and support for the mothers in our community! We wouldn’t be here without them. |

Every hour you give, every meal served, every smile shared, our volunteers are the quiet force behind so many life-changing moments. Whether you're helping someone find their footing on a tough day, sorting donations with care, or simply showing up with kindness, you’re making a difference that can’t be measured in minutes.
Your time is such a generous gift, and we are deeply grateful to each and every one of you who choose to spend yours with us. You remind our community that they are seen, supported, and never alone. To all our volunteers, past, present, and future, thank you for being the heartbeat of our mission. Because of you, hope shows up daily, in real and powerful ways. ❤️ |
